CSSC-Squash > Events > CSSC Squash Singles Event 2008

The next CSSC Squash Singles event will be held at Nottingham Squash Club on Friday November 7th and Saturday November 8th.

The event will be a Graded tournament with up to 4 grades for both men and women. GRADED means that anyone of any standard (from county to social player) can enter and have an enjoyable time on the court against players of a similar standard.

So if you think you can beat the top CSSC squash players and maybe even have an interest in playing in the Representative teams, then here is your chance to show your abilities and compete for the Squash trophies in Grade A.

But if you are a casual /social player who would like to play some different people and have a weekend away in central Nottingham with others who enjoy squash, then the lower grades are for you.

If you are unsure what "grade" you should compete in then follow these guidelines:

• A - You are approaching or playing at county standard. You are playing at first or premier division level in a county league.
• B - You are a regular team player but are not currently county standard.
• C - You play regularly; you may also play in a club team in the lower divisions.
• D - You play in an internal club league but have not represented a club team
• E - You have been playing a while but are not yet in any teams
• F - You have just started playing and can hit the ball

Whatever your standard we aim to give you a good couple of days squash. To supplement your time on court, we will organise a top quality match for you to watch and also plan to have the services of a sports therapist to ease out the aching muscles and avoid injuries.

The CSSRA has won £500 worth of Countdown vouchers for its use as a result of an early-bird draw among CSSC Conference applicants. We have decided to use these as prizes for CSSC squash players in a number of free draws. These will include early-bird entries for CSSC Squash Singles competitions and for CSSC squash competitors who bring new entrants.
So when you enter the Singles, get the entry in early and bring a new player with you.
